I am a relationship-obsessed 22 year old, and I love everything about love and relationships-- the excitement, the drama, the passion, and to an extent even the sweet pain it causes. This blog is about love.The romantic kind mostly. It made sense to write from a personal standpoint-- which is indeed quite dramatic and movie-inspired.
To be honest, I got the idea after I read Foucault's History of Madness (I haven't read it completely, though I've been trying) and I realized that all this while we've been looking at irrationality through the lens of rationality, which obviously explains why irrationality is so looked down upon. The kind of power that language contains became quite apparent to me and when I started writing, it became all the more clear.
My attempt with this blog is to change my own ideas of rationality and irrationality and give them equal power, more than anything else. While every post of mine might not be able to do that, I hope the name in itself says something.
To sum it up: writing, for me, is very insightful and liberating. And movies, I couldn't do without them. I would love to meet more crazy-stupid-lovers like me!
Giving rationality and irrationality equal power, interesting. Finally, someone who has spelt it out i.e. the need to balance both! It's good to have company. :)
